| ITU AVCI Team participated in the 4thUnmanned Air Vehicle Student Competition organized by AUVSI (Assosiation for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International) in June 14-18, 2006 at Maryland, America. The team was formed by the following members: Murat Bronz, Ezgi Karacaoğlu, Savaş Şen, Seçkin Köksal, Nihat Karataş and Gökhan Korkusuz. |
| Due to technical issues, the aircraft could only manage a manual flight, reasoning an unfortunate 15thplace degree in flight performance category, 18thplace degree in technical report category and 6thplace degree in presentation category. In the meantime, AVCI aircraft received the Best Design Award. |
